Risk Monitoring Partner, Insurance Investment

Contract Type: Permanent A career as a Partner in the Risk Management team at Banque Nationale is key to managing the investment risks of insurance companies. You will support the team by optimizing existing risk monitoring processes and helping to create risk frameworks.

Your Role

• Analyze the placement policies of insurance companies and monitor them
• Provide risk analyses for investment and placement decisions (including VaR and stress tests)
• Analyze, reconcile, and explain investment movements
• Analyze and ensure that investment positions and strategies of insurance investment mandates align with the risk appetite and consider actuarial liabilities
• Prepare and optimize risk presentations for insurance company investment committees
• Conduct literature reviews on current investment and actuarial topics and best practices
• Support stakeholders (front office, accountants, actuaries, auditors, lawyers, IT, etc.)

Requirements

• University degree in mathematics, finance, statistics, economics, actuarial science, or related field, with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience
• Strong knowledge of finance and investment
• Knowledge of SQL and Python software
• Knowledge of Power BI and Quicksight visualization tools
• Knowledge of Murex
• Strong proficiency in Office suite
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Good communication and simplification skills
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
