As a System Designer - System Architect, you will be at the heart of the functional and technical design of strategic IT solutions, directly contributing to the quality, consistency, and performance of our platforms. What you will accomplish with us
At various levels depending on the complexity of the initiatives, you will be responsible for:
- Actively participating in the analysis of business and technical needs in collaboration with business analysts and stakeholders.
- Designing and producing functional and/or technical solutions (flows, business rules, integrations, application components).
- Ensuring alignment of solutions with the target architecture, IT standards, and organizational best practices.
- Collaborating closely with architects, development teams, and QA teams throughout the delivery cycle.
- Supporting teams during the implementation of solutions and contributing to estimations and work planning.
- Supporting testing phases, analyzing anomalies, and contributing to their resolution.
- Maintaining rigorous and up-to-date design documentation.
- Acting as a resource person during deployments and supporting production support activities.
- Mentoring team members and fostering knowledge sharing within the IT community.

- We are looking for a person who:
- Is recognized for their strong analytical skills, rigor, and commitment to the quality of delivered solutions.

- Has a good understanding of complex application environments and integration challenges.
- Demonstrates practical experience in IT solution design, ideally in an Agile/Scrum context.
- Possesses 3 to 7 years of relevant experience in IT solution design.
- Holds a bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent.
- Has knowledge of the insurance or financial services domain, including pricing and new business (a valuable asset).
- Is comfortable with several technologies and platforms, including: Azure DevOps, .NET 8, Git, SQL Server, MongoDB, BizTalk, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, and Mainframe environments.
Advanced knowledge of the English language is required, as the person will be called upon daily to engage in conversations with English-speaking partners and colleagues, as well as to read, understand, and write business documents (e.g., deliverables, presentations, written communications). These interactions will take place with subsidiaries located in the United States and Canada, as part of projects, workshops, and routine activities in the sector.
