About the Client

Our client is a boutique civil litigation firm, working primarily in injury and malpractice matters, class actions, and commercial disputes between private parties. Known for its plaintiff-side work and longstanding team stability, the firm places a high value on collaboration and client interaction.

Role Overview

Inner Circle Agency is assisting in the hiring of a Litigation Lawyer to join the firm's team. This role involves working closely with the firm's lawyers across a variety of files, in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently manage a portion of the litigation caseload
• Draft, review, and file the procedures required to advance files
• Conduct legal research and monitor relevant case law developments
• Prepare for and attend examinations, as well as court appearances as needed
• Work closely with other lawyers at the firm on litigation strategy
• Communicate with clients and coordinate certain file-related follow-ups

Qualifications

• Required:
• 2 to 5 years of litigation experience
• Law degree and member of the Quebec Bar Association
• Fully bilingual (French and English)
• Strong written French
• Ability to manage files independently while working closely with the team
• Preferred:
• Experience in civil litigation (injury, malpractice, class actions, or commercial disputes)
• Comfort with high-volume, procedure-heavy files
