Become an essential link in our Rona delivery support team! Use your skills in forklift operation and order management to ensure the smooth operation of delivery operations. You will benefit from a dynamic environment, challenging tasks, and continuous training in a safe and organized setting.

Your role

  • Operate a forklift to load and unload vehicles and transport materials, following safety rules
  • Perform routine and regular preventive maintenance of the vehicle, informing the supervisor of necessary repairs. Complete the forklift inspection sheet daily
  • Prepare orders for delivery, including identifying, locating, and securing materials according to the shipping manifest and adequately completing administrative requirements
  • Build and organize customer orders and load them into the vehicle, considering loading safety, minimizing the risk of damage during transport, customer use order, and vehicle route
  • Follow safe work practices, as well as health and safety policies and procedures
  • All other tasks that ensure the smooth operation of the store

Skills required

  • Knowledge of wood types/grades and familiarity with seasonal products and damage storage/handling procedures
  • Hold a valid forklift operator certificate
  • Previous experience in shipping, receiving, and loading is an asset
  • Good oral and written communication skills
