Brief description of the position:

To meet its clients’ needs in the ICT sector, FOP CONSULTANTS is seeking a motivated Scrum Master to carry out assignments. The main responsibilities would include ensuring the application of Scrum and Agile principles, supporting the team toward autonomy and continuous improvement, facilitating ceremonies, removing obstacles, protecting the sprint focus, collaborating with the Product Owner on backlog and priorities, and supporting Scrum adoption across the organization.

Main responsibilities: Without limitation, the main tasks involve:

• Ensure the application of Scrum and Agile principles.
• Coach the team in self-organization and continuous improvement.
• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (planning, daily, review, retrospective).
• Identify and remove impediments blocking the team.
• Protect the team from distractions and maintain sprint focus.
• Support the Product Owner in backlog management and prioritization.
• Train and coach the organization in Scrum adoption.

Qualifications

• University degree in computer science, project management, administration, or a related field.
• Minimum five (5) years of experience as a Scrum Master.
• Experience on two (2) projects, each lasting at least one (1) year, as a Scrum Master.
• Experience with scaled agility based on the SAFe framework.
• Experience with Azure DevOps.
• Experience with public or private organizations in Canada.
• Hold one of the following certifications: PSM I, PSM II, SASM, SAFe Agilist 6, RTE.
• Language: French.
