Event Development Coordinator
Sales & marketingDescription
*Contract — Independent Contractor*
About the Position
Randolph Group Inc. is seeking an Event Development Coordinator to join a brand new centralized team serving the entire network of Randolph's pubs. You will be the bridge between clients and our pubs: you develop opportunities, coordinate bookings, and ensure every event runs smoothly, from the first contact to the big day.
What Product Are You Developing?
At Randolph, we offer a hands-on, fun experience for businesses and individuals: office parties, team-building, unique training days, and more. We handle the entertainment, food, drinks, venue, and equipment. And for those who come to us, we can even go to them: private enterprise events, festivals, off-site events.
What You Will Do
- Manage and develop a portfolio of corporate and individual clients for an assigned group of pubs
- Proactive outreach: trade shows, contact lists, outbound calls, networking
- Rigorous follow-up of incoming requests via our internal CRM (Odoo)
- Develop new partnerships (businesses, associations, hotels, groups, etc.)
- Meet with pub teams and, occasionally, host major clients on-site
- Work closely with field teams to represent each pub well
- What Your Year Looks Like?
*Summer (start of the mandate):* You train on our tools, get to know your pubs and their teams, build your contact list. We onboard you before the rush so you're ready.
...:* It's the peak season for holiday parties; you manage the schedule, follow up, and close deals. That's where the action is.
*Rest of the year:* That's why we need you. Network development, active outreach, new opportunities. The corporate business shouldn't stop in January, and with you, it won't!
What We're Looking For
- Someone who loves going out to find clients and is motivated by results
- Comfortable with CRM tools and remote work
- Autonomous, organized, and able to manage multiple files simultaneously
- A profile coming from outside the board game industry is welcome
- Experience in business development, event planning, or corporate services, an asset
Mandate Conditions
- Independent contractor status
- Hybrid mandate — most work is done remotely
- Occasional visits to assigned pubs and for important client meetings
- Access to the Odoo CRM provided
- 15% commission on every honored event
- $25/h during training, trade shows, and network outreach activities organized by Randolph
- Mandate start: August 2026, mandate renewal in March 2027 based on performance.
- Earnings Potential
Each coordinator will be assigned to a group of 2 to 3 pubs. Current event sales are between $100,000 and $150,000 per pub annually. Our goal, with the right person, is to reach $150,000 to $200,000 per pub. On a busy territory, that represents a potential earnings of $45,000 to $90,000 per year.
Salary: $45,000 to $90,000 per year
