Purpose of the Position

The CH Group is looking for a telephonist at the box office (food service) to contribute to the success of many initiatives.

Reporting to the manager of the telephonists at the box office, you will be responsible for taking food orders (catering, beverages, and concessions) during events. As a telephonist, your responsibilities will involve working closely with many departments, always ensuring the quality of service provided to customers. This position will require you to open accounts for major companies to handle billing. During events, it will be your responsibility to ensure coordination between different departments and assist box office hosts in making product choices to make customers' evenings more enjoyable.

You will be recognized for

• Taking food orders by phone;
• Recording orders on a computer;
• Ensuring smooth operations during the evening;
• Closing bills at the end of the evening;
• Communicating with the food service departments;
• Answering the various questions of the box office hosts.

• Communication skills;
• Ability to work in a team;
• Problem-solving skills;
• Sense of organization;
• Active listening;
• Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience;
• Availability for event nights at the Bell Centre;
• Experience in the sports and/or entertainment sector, an asset.
