OMNI Order Processing Associate

The OMNI Order Processing Associate must be available at all times, starting at 6:00 AM, to fill in shifts during the week and weekend.

Pick up and pack grocery orders online to be delivered, ensuring that high-quality and accurate grocery is offered, while adhering to strict food safety and hygiene standards to satisfy customers.

1. Efficiently pick up and assemble orders from various temperature zones with great care and quality in mind to offer "on-time" delivery to customers.

2. Pack orders with attention to detail, including distinguishing between products with similar names, having the exact quantity, and the correct product codes.

3. Ensure that the selected products are of superior quality, i.e., they are not damaged, they are the freshest, etc.

4. Properly document and label all orders by interpreting and understanding the documentation, including selection slips, packaging details, shipping labels, etc.

5. Optimize bin filling by efficiently packing orders while adhering to product quality standards.

6. Find a balance between order processing responsibilities and customer interaction and service offerings, including problem resolution assistance.

7. Ensure strict adherence to food safety and hygiene standards, including maintaining a clean and hygienic workspace, immediately cleaning up any spills and debris, and ensuring that all bins are clean and free of debris before packing; using handling equipment safely and responsibly, and ensuring that all safety checks are performed before use; adopting behaviors that support the organization's mission and core principles.

8. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting changes, including operational procedures, productivity standards, efficiency gains, customer satisfaction, safety, working conditions, and quality standards; demonstrate flexibility in executing and adjusting tasks according to customer demands and adhere to daily delivery schedules.

Compensation: $18.75 per hour
