Title: Senior Business Analyst - Accounting and Finance Solutions

Location: Quebec

Duration: 6-12 months, renewable

The mandate will be more specifically focused on the evolution of business processes and the Oracle accounting software that supports them for the Insurance Damage Finance sector. We are looking for a highly senior professional in the accounting/finance business domain, capable of demonstrating leadership and influence.

Main Responsibilities

• Analyze situations to understand organizational problems and seize opportunities
• Identify, analyze, document, and validate organizational business needs and requirements
• Map current and target business processes
• Influence finance processes based on market best practices
• Accompany stakeholders and ensure their commitment to project requirements
• Support the identification of business value
• Verify, validate, manage the traceability of business needs
• Align the solution with business objectives
• Identify internal and external prerequisites and dependencies
• Analyze impacts on stakeholders
• Communicate and present the solution
• Evaluate and validate the effectiveness of a solution in relation to needs and requirements
• Ensure a cross-functional vision of the solution

Required Skills

• 8 years of experience in the field of accounting, finance, and financial systems
• 4 years of experience in a business analyst role
• Knowledge of Oracle financial software (ERP Cloud, EBS, EPM Cloud, Hyperion) is an asset
• Knowledge of the insurance damage industry is an asset
• Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation is an asset
