CONDITIONS
- Hours: 37.5h/week, Monday to Friday, flexible schedule.
- Location: Lévis.
- Work mode: Hybrid (minimum 2 days in the office).
MISSION
- Ensure the reliability, rigor, and respect of deadlines for accounting operations, including financial statements, balance sheets, and accounting entries.
General Accounting
- Participate in the preparation of end-of-month/year files.
- Contribute to the preparation of financial statements and monthly analysis reports.
- Perform monthly journal entries.
- Produce tax declarations (GST/QST/HST and EHC) and payments.
- Support the financial controller.
Accounts Payable
- Ensure the coding and entry of invoices.
- Make payments to suppliers (local and international).
- Receive and follow up on supplier requests.
- Create and maintain supplier and customer files in the accounting software.
Treasury and Reconciliations
- Prepare daily liquidity tracking.
- Perform bank reconciliations.
- Conduct credit card reconciliations.
Accounts Receivable (Support)
- Prepare and perform deposits.
- Receive and follow up on customer requests.
Incoming Goods Accounting (Imports)
- Record all import-related expenses in the computer system.
- Inform buyers-negotiators of price and receipt discrepancies.
- Follow up on payment confirmations to suppliers.
PROFILE REQUIRED
- DEC or BAC in accounting.
- 2 to 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- French: advanced level.
- English: advanced level required due to the need to communicate orally and in writing with English-speaking business partners.
- Excel: advanced.
- Ability to analyze and reason with data logic.
- Be conscientious, autonomous, versatile, reflective, and have a sense of responsibility.
