Employment Type: Permanent A career as a Senior Model Governance Analyst in the Capital and Risk Management team at Banque Nationale is about acting as a specialist in model framework and governance. It is through your critical thinking, experience in financial modeling and risk management, as well as your knowledge of IRRBB and stress testing that you have a positive impact on the robustness of strategic decisions, regulatory compliance and the quality of the risk management framework.

Your Role

• Prepare documents and analyses for governance and model approval committees
• Coordinate the approval process and follow up on decisions and actions
• Develop and enhance models used in stress testing exercises
• Contribute to the execution of stress tests (MST, EWST, ad hoc) and the analysis of results
• Ensure compliance of models with internal standards and regulatory requirements
• Guide teams in the integration of best practices in model governance
• Identify opportunities for improvement in the governance framework and modeling processes

Within the Treasury and Capital Planning sector, you join a team of experts specialized in model governance and report directly to the Capital Planning Director.

Our team stands out for its analytical rigor, its key role in coordinating capital and model committees, as well as its ability to provide a clear and structured reading of complex issues related to models and stress tests. It plays a central role in the framework of processes, including the preparation of committees and the follow-up of key decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance, mathematics, audit or related field
• Experience in financial modeling or risk management (IRRBB, ALM or capital)
• Experience in stress testing or scenario analysis
• Knowledge of model governance frameworks and regulatory requirements
• Proficiency in analytical tools (Advanced Excel, programming - an asset)
• Ability to prepare and present material for management committees
