Do you want to contribute to projects that shape the future of port infrastructure in Quebec? Join our team recognized in maritime engineering and participate in the realization of major projects. You will contribute to major projects, including Horizon Bécancour, the reconstruction of the docks of the port infrastructure of Sorel-Tracy and Saint-Ignace-de-Loyola and other major projects in Quebec. You will intervene on a variety of mandates, including docks, terminals, commercial and tourist ports, breakwaters and rock structures. Main Responsibilities
- Actively participate in the design and prepare construction and renovation plans and estimates for structures (artworks, maritime and port engineering)
- Inspect dock and coastal engineering structures
- Determine construction costs and quantities according to standardized methods and established plans and estimates
- Carry out technical studies or reports
- Evaluate different materials or work procedures and provide recommendations
- Supervise construction work
- Solve technical problems requiring research and in-depth analysis
Qualifications
- Hold a bachelor's degree (BAC) in civil engineering or equivalent
- Be a member of the Order of Engineers of Quebec (OIQ) or eligible
- Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering
- Experience in bridge and/or art structure engineering, maritime and port engineering
- Master French both orally and in writing
- Master English (asset)
- Hold a valid driver's license and have access to a car
