We are currently looking for an Occupational Therapist for our West-Island Clinic.

Your responsibilities

• Conduct functional evaluations and assess patients' abilities/limitations
• Design and implement individualized intervention plans
• Provide manual treatments and evidence-based interventions
• Maintain complete and compliant progress notes
• Ensure quality follow-up and adjust plans according to patients' progress
• Teach and advise patients on strategies and prevention
• Work closely with other clinic professionals

Competencies we are looking for

• Position open to new graduates and experienced occupational therapists
• Be a member in good standing of the OEQ
• Interest in developing skills and refining expertise
• Interest in a varied medium-to-long-term clientele (an asset)
• Expertise in mental health (an asset)
• Initiative, autonomy, and patient-centered approach
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team
• Fluency in French and English, both spoken and written

Schedule

• Full-time: 25 to 35 hours per week
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, day and evening, flexible schedule to be determined with the candidate
• Start date flexible according to the candidate's availability

Remuneration

• Salary: From $41/h to $72.79/h

The hourly rate is established according to the prevailing salary scales, as well as the candidate's professional experience and developed expertise.
