We are currently looking for a chef.

SCHEDULE

• Permanent position
• Full-time
• Between 32 and 40 hours per week
• Day shift (8 AM to 6 PM)
• Weekends

GENERAL ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate on menu preparation by suggesting ideas
• Perform other related tasks
• Participate in assembling dishes
• Plan and cook food using appropriate methods
• Ensure the optimal use of ingredients while maintaining quality standards
• Maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen and equipment according to hygiene and sanitation norms
• Ensure work methods comply with health and safety rules and sanitation norms
• Prepare cold dishes and desserts
• Peel and cut vegetables for meals

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Diploma of Vocational Studies (DEP) in establishment cuisine or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the field
• Good team player
• Hold MAPAQ certification
• Knowledge of senior residences, a major asset
