Every day, more than 80,000 employees worldwide are paving the way for greener and smarter mobility solutions to connect cities, reduce carbon footprint, and replace the car.
Alstom is experiencing unprecedented growth in Canada. To meet the challenges of tomorrow's transportation, we are looking for talented individuals ready to combine global expertise with local impact.
Are you passionate about the railway universe and complex systems? The Train Control & Monitoring Systems (TCMS) team is opening its doors to you.
The TCMS team is involved in improving and troubleshooting the trains in service for our clients. Typical projects range from troubleshooting and fixing problems to managing obsolescence, including functional improvements.
The TCMS consists of an embedded application and a ground application:
The embedded part acquires the train data, applies the control rules, and activates the necessary outputs for train operation. It also collects numerous train status indicators that are transmitted to the ground software via wireless links.
The ground application receives, processes, archives, and makes this data available for consultation. This data is used for effective train operation, as well as for preventive and corrective maintenance.
