We are currently looking for a Maintenance Planner to join our team at our Beauceville plant. Under the supervision of the Maintenance Director, the person holding this position acts as a key resource in the planning of mechanical and electrical work, while ensuring coordination between the maintenance and production teams. Their role is essential to optimize equipment availability, the quality of interventions, and the efficiency of maintenance operations.

When Your Actions Lead to Success

  • Plan and schedule maintenance work according to operational priorities;
  • Determine the parts, tools, special equipment, and resources needed to complete the work;
  • Assess labor needs and prepare detailed work plans for the maintenance teams;
  • Coordinate equipment shutdowns with the production teams to minimize impacts on operations;
  • Ensure the tracking, planning, and execution of work orders according to established priority levels;
  • Keep technical documentation, procedures, and equipment histories up to date in the maintenance management system;
  • Analyze equipment history and collaborate on continuous improvement and reliability initiatives;
  • Act as a resource person and liaison between the maintenance and production departments;
  • Coordinate subcontractor interventions and ensure their reception and compliance with safety requirements;
  • Participate in the tracking of critical orders and support maintenance-related procurement activities;
  • Ensure the quality and accuracy of inventories, material lists, and associated documentation;
  • Support maintenance teams with technical assistance when required;
  • Promote preventive and predictive maintenance schedules and track their implementation;
  • Promote best practices in health and safety by providing the required procedures and documents for interventions.

  • You hold a DEP in industrial mechanics, a DEC in mechanical engineering, or any combination of relevant education and experience;
  • You demonstrate excellent planning, organization, and priority management skills;
  • You have experience in project management or maintenance work coordination;
  • You are known for your autonomy, rigor, and internal customer service;
  • You have knowledge of a GMAO system, particularly Interal (asset);
  • You possess electrical knowledge (asset);
  • You have knowledge of SolidWorks or AutoCAD (asset);
  • You are proficient in French and have advanced English skills;
