Forklift Operator (French Speaking)

We are seeking a reliable and experienced French-speaking Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating forklifts, handling materials, loading and unloading shipments, maintaining inventory accuracy, and communicating effectively with French- and English-speaking team members.

Responsibilities

• Operate counterbalance, reach, or other forklifts safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload trucks using a forklift.
• Move, store, and organize materials within the warehouse.
• Pick, pack, and stage customer orders accurately.
• Receive and inspect incoming shipments.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and assist with cycle counts.
• Perform daily forklift inspections and report equipment issues.
• Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe.
• Follow all company health and safety policies.
• Assist with general warehouse duties as required.

Requirements

• Fluent in French and English (Mandatory).
• Valid Forklift Certification (Mandatory).
• Minimum 1 year of forklift operating experience.
• Experience operating Counterbalance and/or Reach forklifts.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous warehouse or distribution centre experience.
• Experience using RF scanners and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Valid Ontario G Driver's Licence is an asset.
