Mold Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

The incumbent will be required to work with a dynamic team on complex mold injection pieces in a clean and safe facility, using state-of-the-art technology.

• Assist in disassembling, cleaning, and reassembling molds for maintenance
• Perform weekly lubrication on mold opening systems (collet and gearbox)
• Assist in disassembling and reassembling a mold on a press
• Evaluate, analyze, and address wear on mold components
• Inspect, disassemble, and analyze injection components (hot runner block, injection nozzle, thermocouples, resistors...)
• Perform all related tasks.

Required Qualifications (Education and Experience)

• Hold a high school diploma
• A diploma in industrial mechanics will be considered an asset.
