We are currently looking for an Acupuncturist at the Lévis Clinic.

Founded in 2019, the Périnéa clinic quickly established itself as a reference in the Lévis region. In winter 2024, it joined the Kinatex Sports Physio banner to become Kinatex Sports Physio Lévis, thus expanding the range of multidisciplinary services while maintaining a human, personalized, and patient-goal-oriented approach.

The clinic offers a complete range of services in a modern, friendly, and professional environment, including physiotherapy, massage therapy, ergotherapy, kinesiology, and nutrition. Led by a passionate multidisciplinary team, it is committed to offering innovative, effective, and high-quality rehabilitation care to the Lévis community.

Your Responsibilities

• Assess patients' symptoms, physiological disorders, and injuries.
• Review medical history to clarify prognosis and personalize intervention.
• Determine the appropriate stimulation technique based on the patient's condition.
• Plan and apply treatment using various tools.
• Insert needles or apply other stimulation techniques on precise points.
• Prepare and inform the patient about procedures, risks, and benefits.
• Advise and instruct patients.
• Ensure the preparation, disinfection, and sterilization of equipment.
• Collaborate with other professionals.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments.
• Keep patient files up to date.

Our Desired Skills

• Be a member of the Order of Acupuncturists of Quebec.
• Experience in acupuncture is an asset.
• Expertise or experience with pregnant women's clientele is an asset.
• Expertise or experience with pediatric clientele is an asset.
• Initiative, autonomy, and patient-centered approach.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Proficiency in both French and English, both spoken and written.
• Interest in working in a multidisciplinary environment and open to working jointly with other professionals.
• Work approach focused on customer development, continuous training, and team spirit.
• Interest/training in treating private, CNESST, and SAAQ clients.
• Interest/training in pain management.

Schedule

• Part-time: 10 to 15 hours per week with the possibility of evolution.
• Hours: Monday to Friday, day and evening, flexible schedule to be determined with the candidate.
• Start date flexible according to the candidate's availability.
• Employment status: salaried or independent contractor.
