We are currently looking for an Acupuncturist at the Jules-Verne Clinic.
Kinatex Jules-Verne is a dynamic multidisciplinary clinic where collaboration, expertise, and patient well-being are at the heart of our practice. Under one roof, our team offers physiotherapy, massage therapy, kinesiology, and acupuncture services, allowing for comprehensive and personalized patient care.
Our physiotherapy team works with a diverse clientele of all ages: pediatrics, musculoskeletal disorders, sports clientele, vestibular rehabilitation, pelvi-perineal, concussion, and COVID long-haul. We also treat jaw disorders (TMD), facial pain, headaches, and migraines.

Your Responsibilities
- Assess patients' symptoms, physiological disorders, and injuries.
- Examine the medical history to clarify the prognosis and personalize the intervention.
- Determine the appropriate stimulation technique according to the patient's condition.
- Plan and apply treatment using various tools.
- Insert needles or apply other stimulation techniques on precise points.
- Prepare and inform the patient about the procedures, risks, and benefits.
- Advise and give instructions to patients.
- Ensure the preparation, disinfection, and sterilization of equipment.
- Collaborate with other professionals.
- Monitor the patient's progress and adjust treatments.
- Keep patient files up to date.
Our Desired Skills
- Be a member of the Order of Acupuncturists of Quebec.
- Experience in acupuncture is an asset.
- Expertise or experience with pregnant women's clientele is an asset.
- Expertise or experience with pediatric clientele is an asset.
- Initiative, autonomy, and patient-centered approach.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team.
- Proficiency in French and English, both spoken and written.
- Interest in working in a multidisciplinary environment and open to working jointly with other professionals.
- Work approach focused on client development, continuous training, and team spirit.
- Interest/training in treating private, CNESST, and SAAQ clientele.
- Interest/training in treating pain.
Schedule
- Part-time: 10 to 15 hours per week, with the possibility of gradually evolving towards a full-time position.
- Schedule: Monday to Thursday (morning, afternoon, and evening) and Friday (morning and afternoon).
- Start date flexible according to the candidate's availability.
- Employment status: salaried or independent contractor.
