About the position

As a Prevention Consultant, you will play a key role in the development and evolution of best practices in prevention within the group. You will ensure the leadership, mentoring, and support needed to foster a coherent approach aligned with the organization's orientations.

With your expertise, you will contribute to the development of knowledge and skills of the prevention teams, while encouraging the adoption of the tools, standards, and practices implemented. You will also collaborate with various stakeholders to support the evolution of prevention and the promotion of this expertise within the group.

What will your workweek look like?

• Determine and communicate guidelines regarding inspection and prevention standards
• Write and maintain technical guides and other documents (disaster prevention manual, technical bulletins, regulation summaries, etc.)
• Analyze current and future prevention needs to propose cutting-edge strategies to support the evolution of our members' portfolios
• Participate in the analysis of statistics and reports to derive actions and make recommendations
• Answer questions from mutual companies and risk analysts of the Federation regarding prevention in property and casualty insurance
• Contribute to the strategic reflection to achieve expected growth and profitability objectives
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our processes and project management
• Represent your practice in multidisciplinary projects
• Collaborate on the development of a prevention training and coaching program
• Represent the Federation to various external stakeholders and lead different committees or workshops within the group
• Create and maintain a risk management process for advisors in mutual companies mandated to visit high-complexity and/or large-scale risks requiring superior risk control
• Occasionally accompany and assist senior risk management advisors (mutual) in the field and in the writing of their reports

Do you have this profile?

• DEC in fire prevention technology (TPI) or training in risk management
• Possess a minimum of five (5) years of experience in prevention or other relevant experience
• Possess experience in enterprise insurance for high-complexity and/or large-scale risks requiring superior risk control (Asset)
• Hold a BAC or CRM or any other equivalent experience (Asset)
• Have training in continuous improvement (LEAN) or project management (Asset)
• Have good mastery of the Office Suite
• Have excellent mastery of English (Asset)
• Depth of analysis, autonomy, and excellent priority management
• Ability to simplify complex concepts, convince with diplomacy, and have a strong customer orientation
