About the position

As a Senior Audit and Inspection Advisor, you play a key role in monitoring the activities of mutual companies, members of the Promutuel Group.

You plan and carry out independent audit and inspection mandates in compliance with regulatory requirements and established internal procedures. You also collaborate on internal audit missions with Group scope and contribute to the mandate of assistance to the designated external auditor.

Thanks to your expertise and recommendations, you contribute to the continuous improvement of governance, risk management and control practices within mutual companies.

What will your workweek look like?

• Monitor the evolution of the Group's organizational processes and changes to laws, regulations and guidelines of the Autorité des marchés financiers, in order to assess their impact on the inspection work of mutual companies
• Participate in the development of new tools and the development of the inspection approach
• Plan inspection work according to the risks related to the mutual companies assigned to you, while ensuring that it is aligned with the Group's strategic planning
• Carry out inspection missions of mutual companies according to a risk-aligned approach
• Prepare reports of findings and recommendations for the audit committees and boards of directors of mutual companies
• Meet with targeted sectors to assess the efficiency and effectiveness of activities and provide an independent assessment of risk management, control and governance processes
• Present the results of the work carried out to the general management of the mutual company, including the report, findings and recommendations
• Review work related to the execution of missions and the preparation of reports of mutual companies assigned to your peers
• Verify the implementation of action plans prepared by the general manager following the recommendations issued in the inspection report, while ensuring that the actions adequately cover the identified risks
• Prepare and present a follow-up report on the implementation of recommendations to the general manager and submit it to the members of the audit committee of each mutual company
• Participate in the execution of audit mandates of financial statements carried out by the external auditor (tests, analyses and conclusions for the external auditor)

Do you have this profile?

• Bachelor's degree in accounting sciences
• CPA designation or related professional title in internal audit (CIA, CRMA)
• Experience in governance and risk management (asset)
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in audit
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
• Mastery of the French language, both oral and written
• Strong analytical, judgmental and problem-solving skills
• Ability to formulate clear recommendations and positively influence decision-making
