Your Role

Reporting to the VP of Operations, the Production Director must ensure the manufacturing performance of high-tech electronic products. He/She oversees all production, quality, supply, after-sales service, and planning activities while ensuring alignment between R&D and operations.

Operations & Performance Direction

  • Plan and supervise electronic production activities.
  • Define production capacities and necessary resources to support operations.
  • Ensure achievement of cost, quality, delivery, and operational performance objectives.
  • Manage and improve operational systems.
  • Implement and track performance indicators and produce performance reports for management and clients.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity and industrial performance.
  • Lead production, QA, procurement, and after-sales service teams.
  • Develop technical skills of teams under supervision.
  • Contribute to a performance and continuous improvement culture.

Quality & Compliance

  • Analyze and optimize revenue costs.
  • Ensure quality management system governance and adherence to standards and control processes.
  • Ensure traceability and reliability of electronic equipment.
  • Supervise supplier and regulatory audits and maintain document compliance.

Supply Chain

  • Supervise procurement and supplier management strategy to ensure supply security and competitiveness.
  • Supervise inventory, production flow, and system management.
  • Implement supplier performance evaluation and management mechanisms.
  • Supervise compliance and efficiency of international logistics operations, including imports, exports, and customs procedures.

After-Sales Support

  • Supervise after-sales service (RMA, repairs).
  • Ensure customer support quality and efficiency of tracking and billing repair processes.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of products and processes by integrating after-sales feedback.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Electronics or equivalent), DEC in Electronics, or any other equivalent qualifications.
  • Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in a similar position in the high-tech electronics field.
  • Experience in SMEs and multidisciplinary team management.

Key Skills

  • Solid understanding of electronic manufacturing processes (ERP) and supply chain.
  • Ability to communicate easily in English (both orally and in writing).
  • Results-oriented and continuous improvement mindset.
  • Experience in quality system management.
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement principles such as Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, or Six Sigma is an asset.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Analytical and strategic thinking.
