Client Note, Groupe Deric is currently looking for an Electrical Project Manager to join the Electrical team in Quebec!

What will your daily life at Deric look like?
Under the authority of the Director of Process Mechanics and Electrical Operations, the Electrical Project Manager will primarily have the following responsibilities:
- Coordinate with foremen;
- Issue and prepare subcontracts and purchase orders;
- Purchase the required materials for the project;
- Coordinate material transportation;
- Coordinate with other project managers from different divisions;
- Plan and participate in internal coordination meetings;
- Plan and participate in site meetings with the client;
- Analyze the project and optimize its profitability;
- Establish and track the site operation budget;
- Prepare and track schedules;
- Produce and track directives and change requests;
- Approve invoices.
Do you have what it takes?
- Technical or BAC degree in electrical engineering or equivalent experience;
- Knowledge of electrical systems (an asset);
- 3 to 5 years of experience in project management;
- Member of the Order of Engineers of Quebec (an asset).
- Methodical, organized, and detail-oriented;
- Strong analytical skills.
- Excellent French language skills (spoken and written);
- Knowledge of the Canadian construction and/or civil engineering market.
