Visique Québec - Beauport is looking for someone like you, with skills and know-how, to join our team as an optician.

At this position, you will improve the lives of our patients every day by offering them a memorable vision and eyewear experience in a dynamic, valued, and collaborative environment. This is a full-time, fixed-term position with a work schedule of 30 to 40 hours per week. Our clinic is open from Monday to Sunday.

What you will do

• Inform patients about eyewear options that suit their lifestyle, ensuring optimal value and quality
• Guide patients in choosing eyewear that combines style and visual performance
• Perform eyewear repairs and adjustments to ensure proper fit and comfort
• Supervise and train team members to improve their skills, performance, and knowledge to ensure consistent execution of optical standards and processes
• Support retail operations and contribute to the clinic's overall success
• Provide a memorable customer service experience, ensuring a positive experience for patients
• Support clinic operations by performing additional tasks as needed

What you bring

• Previous experience in the optical field is considered an asset
• Member in good standing of the Order of Opticians and Optometrists of Quebec
• Proficiency in technologies and computers, including MS Office suite
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and thrive in a dynamic environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, passion for patient relationships, and a willingness to provide a memorable patient experience
• Team spirit, adaptability, proactivity, and growth-oriented mindset, ability to effectively manage evolving priorities
