Overview
Join our Airports team in Quebec and participate in major projects for airports and heliports in Canada and internationally.
As a Principal / Lead Civil Engineer and Project Manager, you will contribute to all stages of projects, from planning to implementation, including design and construction oversight of airport infrastructure. You will work within a team recognized for its technical expertise, collaboration, and ability to deliver innovative solutions for top-tier clients.

Your Role
- Serve as Project Manager and/or Civil Engineer in the design, project management, and contract administration for aerodrome infrastructure projects for private, regional, and international airports.
- Design runways, taxiways, traffic areas, service roads, runway-side commercial developments, and stormwater management systems.
- Develop and oversee the preparation of plans, estimates, cost estimates, and tender documents.
- Ensure quality control and quality assurance of technical deliverables and seal required engineering documents.
- Provide technical support during construction, including reviewing shop drawings and preparing progress reports.
- Mentor and develop junior team members.
- Conduct site visits and inspections as required in Canada.
About You
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering.
- OIQ member with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
- CAPM certification from the PMI Institute.
- Proficiency in FAA, ICAO, and Transport Canada standards, including TP-312 and Annex 14.
- Expertise in airport infrastructure project management and ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
- Proven ability to analyze complex problems and develop innovative technical solutions.
- Ability to prepare professional service proposals and maintain excellent relationships with clients and partners.
- Ability to travel to project sites (sometimes remote) for design and resident construction services.
- Practical knowledge of software programs and web applications such as Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project Schedule), AutoCAD, Civil3D, AviPlan, aircraft modeling software, FAARFEILD, PAVER.
- Proficiency in French, both spoken and written.
