We want to build the largest healthcare-focused real estate portfolio in Canada—and we need a Chief Director, Commercial Real Estate Revenues to take overall responsibility for the optimization and growth of our commercial revenues.
Reporting to the Chief of Real Estate Development and Operations, you will play a central role in high-impact issues, including:
- Defining and deploying a development and revenue optimization strategy for the entire commercial portfolio (commercial spaces, healthcare spaces, parking, and auxiliary services);
- Dynamic pricing of commercial spaces and auxiliary revenues based on market evolution;
- Leading the parking strategy across the portfolio (allocation, pricing, technological deployment, and management of external suppliers);
- Developing strategic and lasting partnerships with commercial tenants, clinics, and professional health groups;
- Developing rigorous profitability analyses for any new revenue source and measuring their impact;
- Managing and developing the commercial leasing team.
This position is ideal for an experienced professional with a strong strategic vision and entrepreneurial spirit, who enjoys building lasting partnerships and mobilizing a high-performing team, and who wants to act as the orchestra conductor for the profitability of Medway Group's commercial portfolio.
*Your daily routine with us*
- Ensure the performance of revenues and achieve occupancy, retention, and net yield targets for commercial leasing;
- Maintain a consolidated and real-time dashboard of key indicators (revenues, occupancy rates, parking) and analyze deviations from projections;
- Actively position Medway Group as the preferred real estate partner for healthcare professionals;
- Create and adapt our space and service offerings to specifically meet the unique needs of the healthcare sector;
- Collaborate closely with the medical operations team to ensure perfect synergy between our real estate partnerships and clinics;
- Orchestrate interfunctional collaboration to ensure a harmonious customer journey, aligned with Medway's premium and caring positioning;
- Actively collaborate in the design and development phases of new buildings to ensure space configurations that maximize commercial attractiveness and optimal leasing.
Desired Profile
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, finance, or any combination of education and experience deemed equivalent
- Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience in commercial leasing, asset management, and real estate management, including at least 5 years in a team management role
- Recognized expertise in real estate marketing used as a revenue creation lever
- Proficiency in digital tools, market analytics, and strategic intelligence
- Proven experience in designing and optimizing customer journeys and B2B user experiences
- Proven history in identifying and commercializing new revenue sources
- Strategic vision, keen business sense, and excellent communication, negotiation, and influence skills
- Motivational leadership: ability to coach, develop talent, and manage conflicts tactfully
