Job Title
Person responsible for the execution of complex legal and administrative tasks, including data collection, analysis, and document preparation. They conduct legal or administrative research, prepare and draft legal or administrative documents, and may manage case files. They provide administrative support to the service staff, including opening and maintaining files. They perform secretarial and office tasks involving the use of specific software and legal databases. They handle mail and emails.
Responsibilities
Under the authority of the Director of Legal Affairs – Contractual, Real Estate, and Construction Law, the person holding this position is responsible for tasks related to the organization of the department and the planning and execution of legal and administrative work. They are particularly responsible for complex legal and administrative tasks in supporting the department's work for the RARC of Santé Québec, as well as in the areas of contractual, real estate, construction, and intellectual property law, including data collection, analysis, and document preparation. They collaborate with the RARC and the lawyers involved in these areas.
In this context, the person will be called upon to:
- Conduct legal or administrative research for the department and the RARC;
- Prepare and draft legal and administrative documents for the department and the RARC;
- Maintain a legislative, regulatory, and jurisprudential watch in relevant areas;
- Maintain files in accordance with best practices and ethical requirements;
- Structure and maintain documentation repositories to ensure their accessibility and integrity, using effective organization methods and ensuring regular updates;
- Support department members in projects related to the mutualization of legal services in relevant areas;
- Participate in team meetings and various committees when required;
- Participate in the continuous improvement of processes by identifying optimization opportunities and proposing innovative solutions.
Please note that responsibilities may be modified based on the evolution of Santé Québec.
Working Conditions
Hourly Rate : $27.78 to $37.08, depending on experience.
Employment Status : Full-time (35 hours)
Location : Quebec.
Workplace : Possibility of a hybrid mode.
Start Date : As soon as possible.
Union Accreditation : Non-unionized
Admission Requirements
The Candidate Must Hold
- A college diploma (DEC) in legal techniques from a recognized school or a college diploma (DEC) combined with a relevant first-year university certificate or a relevant college certificate (AEC) of 800 hours or more combined with relevant experience in the field
For consideration, any education completed outside of Canada must have been evaluated through a comparative assessment (equivalence certificate) issued by the Ministry of Immigration, Francization, and Integration.
It is mandatory to possess Canadian citizenship, permanent resident status, or a work permit issued by the competent federal authority to hold this position.

- Mastery of the functionalities of Microsoft 365 suite (Teams, OneNote, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, List);
- Mastery of the French language both orally and in writing;
- Good understanding of the health and social services network is an asset;
- Excellent document drafting and formatting skills;
- Rigor and concern for the quality of work;
- Ability to work in a team and collaborate with various stakeholders;
- Good stress management and sustained work pace;
- Sharp sense of priorities and excellent organizational skills;
- Autonomy and resourcefulness;
- Creative and innovative thinking regarding work methods;
- Discretion, tact, and confidentiality.
