Supervises daily operations of Food & Beverage (F&B) teams and ensures compliance with all F&B policies, standards, and procedures. Manages daily operational activities to ensure quality, standards, and customer expectations are met daily. Manages the operational budget and ensures compliance with standards and legal obligations. Develops specific objectives and plans to prioritize, organize, and complete work.

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma (or equivalent/GED).
  • 4 years of experience in the food service, beverage, culinary, or related professional field.
  • OR Option 2
  • Diploma from an accredited institution in one of the following fields:
  • + Food Service Management
  • + Hotel and Restaurant Management
  • + Hospitality
  • + Business Administration
  • + Or any related specialty
  • 2 years of experience in the food service, beverage, culinary, or related professional field.
  • KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Daily Operations Management

  • Participate in food and beverage supply orders, cleaning products, and uniform orders.
  • Supervise daily F&B team operations and ensure compliance with policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Support and supervise an effective monthly self-inspection program.
  • Use all department equipment and report any anomalies or breakdowns.
  • Supervise staffing to ensure customer service quality, meet operational needs, and achieve financial objectives.
  • Encourage and develop mutual trust, respect, and cooperation within the team.
  • Master various positions to ensure coverage when staff are absent.
  • Define specific objectives and plans to prioritize, organize, and complete tasks.
  • Monitor and maintain employee productivity.
  • Ensure all team members and supervisors understand the brand's philosophy.
  • Manage the operational budget and ensure compliance with standards and legal obligations.
  • Help supervisors understand evolving employee needs and expectations and exceed them.
  • Recognize and celebrate decisions that lead to both successes and learning from failures.
  • Communicate critical points to teams and follow up to ensure understanding.
  • Coordinate cleaning programs in all F&B areas (e.g., general cleanings), identify trends, and recommend improvements.
  • Establish and maintain open and collaborative relationships with employees.
  • Create and maintain an environment that fosters motivation, autonomy, team spirit, and service passion.
  • Apply specific establishment service recovery and follow-up procedures.
  • Be available and accessible to all team members.
  • Demonstrate perfect knowledge of the brand's service culture.

Providing Exceptional Customer Service

  • Provide service that exceeds expectations to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Improve service quality by helping staff understand customer needs through guidance, feedback, and individual coaching.
  • Set an example by adopting appropriate behaviors.
  • Manage daily operations, monitor quality and standards, and meet customer expectations daily.
  • Adopt a proactive approach to addressing customer concerns and complaints.
  • Set an example in customer relations.
  • Be available and accessible to all customers.
  • Review customer feedback and satisfaction survey results with employees.
  • Respond quickly to customer service requests.
