- General Function
Within the store and under the supervision of the management team, the cashier operates sales transactions of items at the checkout.
Tasks and Responsibilities
Under the supervision and support of the Manager or their Assistant:
- Welcome customers;
- Establish or find the price of unlabeled products;
- Ensure the prevention of losses;
- Pack merchandise or put it in bags;
- Answer customer questions;
- Place and rotate merchandise;
- Manage the boutique section and jewelry counter, update merchandise;
- Ensure that the front of the store and the cashier section is clean and well-decorated;
- Restock, if needed, the shelves and clean the counter around the cash register;
- Count and balance the cash drawers;
- Apply our sales policy (price verification in cash registers, refusal of payment by check, etc.)
- Perform any other related tasks
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
- Secondary V
- Speed, attention to detail, concentration, good observation skills, punctuality, and dynamism
- Very good teamwork and communication skills
- Good visual-motor coordination
- Open-mindedness, tolerance, acceptance, and respect for others
- Adaptability, judgment, and honesty
