The Position

The *Sales Associate* promotes merchandise and offers exceptional customer service, generates and processes sales, and is responsible for the cleanliness and appearance of the store.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional service by creating a warm environment. This includes greeting, welcoming, and approaching each new customer and knowing the products well.
• Stay up-to-date on sales and promotions.
• Help maintain the cleanliness of merchandise displays and the store.
• Perform merchandise replenishment, monitor inventory in the store, and process deliveries.
• Process purchases at the cash register.
• Adhere to all company policies.
• Other tasks assigned by the management team.

Qualifications

• Retail sales or customer service experience, an asset
• Excellent sales and customer service skills
• Strong communication skills and solid interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work standing for long periods and climb a ladder
• Move, lift, and manipulate merchandise boxes and fixtures in the store (weights up to 30 lbs).

Availability Requirements

• Days, evenings, and weekends.
