THE ROLE
Our recreation assistants are the friendly faces of our organization. They are the first person to welcome our members when they enter our facilities and often the link between them and other sectors of the PSP. You will be responsible for welcoming and directing all members who arrive, using the PSP software to process registrations and payments, while ensuring the safety of these individuals and the facilities. This role involves daily opportunities and challenges. Can you meet the challenge? Every day, members will have questions or problems, and you will need to show initiative to address or respond to them. This position is an ideal introduction to the PSP and offers potential for growth and development. Our recreation assistants are the first line of PSP relations with members and truly meet the needs of these individuals and their families.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education, Certificates, and Licenses High school diploma AND some years of experience in a related field (OR An acceptable combination of education, training, and experience will also be considered) Valid RCR and basic first aid certificates Experience Handling money and sales Using software for word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, databases, email, and internet navigation Skills Customer orientation, knowledge of the organization, communication, innovation, teamwork, and leadership LANGUAGE REQUIREMENT

OTHER INFORMATION
This is an on-site position assigned to a specific location. PSP: Ensure that the Canadian Armed Forces are always operationally ready and that military personnel and their families remain healthy, by working within the Personnel Support Programs team. This division contributes to the operational readiness of the Canadian Armed Forces by offering physical conditioning, sports, recreation, and health promotion programs to military communities in Canada and deployed military personnel.
