Under the responsibility of the Microbiology Lab Supervisor, the technician performs various tasks related to sampling and analysis to assess compliance with the environmental monitoring program of the facilities and their own utilities.

What you will do on a daily basis

• Perform environmental sampling (air, surfaces, water...) by applying various techniques;
• Analyze environmental controls and ensure that the results comply with the applicable standards;
• Design documents related to the analyses;
• Compile data and interpret results and verify trends;
• Write reports and periodic reviews.

Profile sought to succeed in this position

• College diploma in a relevant field (microbiology, biotechnology, etc.)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience
• Excellent mastery of MS Office suite
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt regularly to changes
• Good sense of organization and great capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• It would be a real plus if you also possessed some of the following assets:
• Ability to solve problems and find solutions autonomously
• Excellent interpersonal skills
