Technical Team Lead / Guidewire Tech Lead

CGI is seeking a Technical Lead with Guidewire experience to join a project team for one of our clients in the insurance sector and to help grow its center of excellence.

Functions and Responsibilities

• Responsible for the delivery of Guidewire software solutions, including analysis, design, development, implementation, and support of applications to ensure alignment with IT strategies and company standards;
• Define and apply best practices in development and architecture;
• Lead the development team on technical and methodological aspects;
• Collaborate with product, business, and infrastructure teams to complete the project;
• Optimize system performance and reliability by continuously improving processes and applications;
• Play a strategic role in ensuring alignment of the solution with business needs and technological standards.

Participate in the strategic definition and growth of the insurance/Guidewire center of excellence.

Qualifications Required for Success in this Role

• Minimum of 6 years of IT experience, including 4 years in a similar role;
• Strong proficiency in Guidewire Cloud products, including PolicyCenter, ClaimsCenter, and/or BillingCenter;
• Strong proficiency in Gosu and Java languages and AWS;
• Important asset:
• Possession of the GW ACE certification (up-to-date)
• Excellent understanding of software architectures and API integrations

Be able to interface between the client and the implementation teams.

Knowledge of "Out of the Box" features to guide the client "adopt".

CGI offers a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this position. The calculation of this range depends on various factors, including skill level, geographic market, experience, education, and professional licenses and certifications. Salary decisions depend on the particularities of each case. A reasonable estimate of this salary range is between $90,000 and $125,000. This position is open.
