Role Summary

We are looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Warehouse Supervisor to manage and optimize our daily operations. The selected candidate will play a key role in operational performance, team coordination, and continuous process improvement.

Operations Aspect

  • Plan, organize, direct, and control daily warehouse, goods reception, and transportation activities.
  • Ensure efficient warehouse management and adhere to order priorities.
  • Maintain and improve operational processes related to handling, labeling, and packaging.
  • Prepare for and participate in the annual inventory in collaboration with the team.
  • Coordinate daily with team leaders through regular meetings.
  • Conduct or supervise shift start discussions (DMS).
  • Manage warehouse equipment maintenance and track its status.
  • Occasionally participate in handling tasks to support operations.
  • Contribute to the integration, improvement, and enhancement of ERP processes.

Human Resources Aspect

  • Plan workforce needs and participate in recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and continuous training of staff, in collaboration with Human Resources.
  • Assign tasks and ensure achievement of operational objectives.
  • Ensure sufficient staffing levels and work quality in line with performance targets (KPIs).
  • Review and approve timesheets and manage leave requests.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Manage disciplinary actions, if necessary, and maintain rigorous tracking with the Human Resources department.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative, and communication-focused work environment.
  • Participate in annual staff performance evaluations and individual goal setting.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Motivate, encourage, and support teams on a daily basis.
  • Perform any other related tasks.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a team lead or supervisor role;
  • Sharp business sense focused on efficiency and productivity;
  • Strong interest in coaching and team development to achieve full potential;
  • Ability to delegate;
  • Strong ability to lead, manage, inspire, and motivate a team;
  • Adaptability and ease in understanding and improving operational processes;
  • Strong planning, organizing, and prioritizing skills to manage effectively;
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in French;
  • Bilingualism (French/English at intermediate level) required due to the organization's national activities and the need for effective communication between different regions;
  • Experience with ERP, computerized inventory systems, and proficiency in the Office suite.
