Responsibilities
- Manage the execution of construction work;
- Apply plans and estimates and ensure compliance with the schedule;
- Monitor the performance of subcontractors;
- Coordinate project progress with the project team: subcontractors, foremen, project managers, project director.
- Ensure the quality of the work performed;
- Apply health and safety policies;
- Participate in site meetings;
- Complete the daily work report and quantities.
Requirements
- DEC in civil engineering or architecture, DEP in construction, journeyman, or any other combination of equivalent experience and education;
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience;
- Good knowledge of: equipment, execution standards, work methods;
- Computer skills: MS Project and Microsoft Office Suite;
- Excellent communication skills (French and English), both oral and written. The use of English is necessary to communicate with different English-speaking partners.
