Use and maintain cleaning equipment and tools, including the dishwasher, handwashing stations, potwashing stations, and trash compactor. Wash and disinfect the kitchen and storage room, tables, utensils, knives, and equipment. Receive deliveries, properly store perishable goods, and manage inventory. Ensure that clean glasses and dishes are stored in the appropriate areas. Use detergent, rinsing products, and disinfectant chemicals in the 3-compartment sink to clean dishes. Inspect, remove, and stack cleaned items, send dirty items to scrubbing and washing. Place on racks and spray all items on racks with hot water to remove and eliminate food residues. Sort, soak, and wash/rinsed silverware. Empty dirty trash bins. Empty and maintain trash cans and the area around the dumpster. Clean and wash all assigned areas with a mop. Dispose of glasses in the appropriate containers. Disassemble cardboard boxes and place them, along with other recyclables, in the recycling bin. Follow all company policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and dangerous work conditions to the manager; and complete safety training and certifications. Protect the company's assets. Communicate with others using clear, appropriate, and professional language. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others; support the team to achieve common goals. Meet quality assurance expectations and standards. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds (22.7 kg) without assistance. Stand, sit, or walk for a prolonged period or for a long period of time. Reach objects above the head and below the knees, including bending, body rotations, pulling, and crouching. Perform other reasonable job tasks as requested by supervisors.
