Under the responsibility of the Director of Maintenance, the maintenance planner performs various tasks related to the planning of maintenance operational needs, coordinates preventive and corrective maintenance.
What you will do on a daily basis
- Receive and analyze work requests from various internal clients to understand their needs and issue work orders (BT) as a result;
- Schedule preventive and corrective maintenance work on production equipment;
- Create production equipment sheets;
- Create equipment sheets and preventive maintenance templates in the maintenance management information system (GMAO);
- Maintain the inventory of the spare parts store.
Profile sought to succeed in this position
- DEC in a field related to maintenance, operations management, maintenance planning, or any other related field;
- Minimum of 8 to 10 years of relevant experience;
- Excellent mastery of MS Office suite
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt regularly to changes
- Good sense of organization and great ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Bilingualism (French and English) to communicate regularly, verbally or in writing, effectively with all our partners located outside the province of Quebec
- It would be a real plus if you also possessed some of the following assets:
- Ability to solve problems and find solutions autonomously
- Excellent interpersonal skills
