Project management at Thales Digital Solutions is first and foremost close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams ... software, product owners (PO), designers, scientists, marketing, business development) to manage projects and/or programs of various sizes.

Project management at Thales is above all a role of facilitator and orchestra leader on a portfolio of projects focused on the same area of expertise in order to ensure a common vision between scientific activities, development activities while ensuring that the design vision and user needs are known and integrated into the solution.

Our role as project manager is to ensure that each employee can be heard and have an impact on projects and objectives to be achieved. The project manager at Thales is an important part of the team to ensure the success of projects.

Our goal is to foster innovation on different research axes such as:

• Cybersecurity
• Human factors analysis using sensory sensors to better support the operator in his critical tasks,
• Use of artificial intelligence to offer decision-making capabilities between different agents,
• Analysis of historical data combined with expert knowledge to make recommendations and support the human in understanding complex situations.

Essential Functions

• You will be responsible, in collaboration with the innovation manager, engineering and research, for the roadmap and the overall vision of one or more projects and/or project portfolios that you will be in charge of
• You will ensure the alignment of the company's strategic objectives, research and project objectives of the same project portfolio
• You will be responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction and achieving the project team's objectives
• You will facilitate workshops with the various stakeholders to ensure that everyone is going in the same direction
• You will oversee risk management and the implementation of appropriate mitigation measures
• In collaboration with the various project stakeholders, you will establish and communicate the objectives, timeline, performance indicators, project expectations, work to be done, milestones and deliverables of the projects
• You will ensure the role of liaison between the various project stakeholders
• You will coordinate the various area managers involved to ensure the success of the project
• You will be responsible for planning and managing the workload of the team working on your or your project portfolios
• You will master the terms and conditions as well as the budget of the projects
• You will manage the billing milestones associated with the project

• Minimum Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in an appropriate discipline;
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in project management or a strong desire to rely on your past significant experience to enter a project manager role

This position requires good knowledge of English to interact, support and/or provide services to international clients, employees and/or partners as well as to foreign government authorities who do not speak French.
