Responsibilities
- Prepare and follow up on tender calls for subcontracting lots;
- Negotiate and award contracts to subcontractors;
- Prepare the project schedule with the superintendent;
- Update the schedule throughout the project;
- Develop the CNESST prevention program and follow it up on the site;
- Prepare and follow up on technical questions related to plans and estimates;
- Manage client payment requests and those of subcontractors;
- Manage and review workshop drawings and samples;
- Manage the follow-up of "Conflict Detection" when the project is done in BIM;
- Organize site meetings with subcontractors and the client;
- Manage client changes and subcontractor change requests;
- Follow up and manage deficiencies at the end of the project.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in architecture, civil engineering, construction engineering, or any other combination of equivalent experience and education;
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience;
- Eligible to obtain a safety rating;
- Member of the Order of Engineers of Quebec (asset) or the Order of Architects of Quebec (OAQ) (asset);
- Computer skills: MS Project and Microsoft Office Suite;
- Excellent communication skills (French and English), both oral and written. English is necessary to communicate with different English-speaking partners.
