We are currently looking for a Human Resources Management Advisor to join our team in the Human Resources-Operations & Occupational Health and Safety and Well-being Department. You will guide and support the internal clientele to achieve optimal management practices and support the organization in achieving its goals. You will intervene in all areas of human resources. You will participate in the development, deployment, and application of programs, policies, directives, and procedures governing human resources management.
On a daily basis, you will...
- Provide expertise in human resources management and offer specialized guidance and support in various areas of human resources;
- Support and advise managers in planning and developing employees to fill positions with competent personnel who meet the organization's needs;
- Advise and support managers in human resources management and the implementation of motivating management practices aimed at achieving their unit's goals;
- Advise managers on labor relations and conflict prevention and act as a resource person in the interpretation and rigorous application of Labor Laws, collective agreements, policies, and directives related to labor relations. Take charge of grievance, arbitration, or labor dispute cases filed before administrative tribunals;
- Maintain constant and productive follow-up of various labor relations committees, participate in the preparation and negotiation of collective labor agreements, and negotiate various employer/union agreements;
- Act as a resource person in the handling of disability and occupational health and safety cases;
- Participate, as the organization's representative, in various committees, trade shows, or other working groups related to your activities;
- Act as a resource person in the development, deployment, interpretation, and application of programs, policies, and directives related to human resources management, labor relations, and working conditions;
- Produce various reports, analyses, arguments, or other documents as requested and needed.
Perform any other related tasks, as required, to support the organization's operations.
You possess...
- Bachelor's degree in industrial relations, human resources management, or any other related field;
- At least seven (7) years of relevant experience in the responsibilities of the position;
- Proficiency in spoken and written French;
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint);
- Experience in a unionized environment;
- Membership in the Order of Certified Human Resources Advisors (asset).
