About this job
At Google, research-focused software developers are integrated across the company, enabling them to run large-scale tests and rapidly and widely deploy promising ideas. These ideas can come from internal projects or collaborations with research programs at universities and global technical institute partners.
From creating experiences and implementing prototypes to designing new architectures, developers work on concrete problems, including artificial intelligence, data exploration, natural language processing, hardware and software performance analysis, compiler improvements for mobile platforms, and foundational research, among others. However, our researchers remain connected to their roots as active contributors to the research community by establishing partnerships with universities and publishing papers.
Artificial intelligence will be one of humanity's most revolutionary inventions. At Google DeepMind, we are a pioneering AI lab with exceptional interdisciplinary teams determined to advance AI development to tackle complex global challenges and accelerate innovation in high-quality products for billions of users. We put our technologies to the service of the general interest and scientific research, ensuring that safety and ethics remain our absolute priority.
We push the boundaries in many areas. Our international teams offer diverse training opportunities and varied career paths to those driven by the desire to achieve exceptional results through collective effort.
