We are looking for our future Senior Strategic Advisor to join our teams.
Main Responsibilities
- Support and advise senior decision-makers in the development and implementation of digital transformation, data, or artificial intelligence strategies.
- Define and recommend strategic directions in line with organizational priorities.
- Support the organization in complex and evolving transformation contexts.
- Identify, analyze, and prioritize high-value transformation initiatives in digital, data, or AI (for AI mandates).
- Conduct and support value analyses, including benefits, costs, risks, and impacts of initiatives.
- Advise decision-makers on investments, arbitrations, and strategic decision-making.
- Support the implementation of governance frameworks, tracking mechanisms, and decision-making processes.
- Integrate ethical, legal, regulatory, and organizational considerations into recommendations.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure the integration of new technologies and the success of projects.
- Support teams in resolving complex organizational issues and impasses.
- Prepare analyses, reports, status updates, directives, and recommendations for governance bodies.
- Facilitate and coordinate tactical and strategic committees and meetings.
- Serve as an expert advisor to multidisciplinary teams and managers.
- Desired Profile
Academic Background
- Hold a bachelor's degree in IT or another relevant field, or a combination of experience, certification, or other elements deemed relevant as compensation for academic requirements.
Minimum Professional Experience
- Fifteen (15) years of senior-level experience in strategic consulting, management, executive support, or organizational transformation within complex organizations.
- Ten (10) years of experience in similar roles.
- Participation in major digital, organizational, information, or technological transformation mandates.
- Experience in governance, decision support, strategic analysis, and executive coaching.
- Ability to develop strategic directions, roadmaps, executive recommendations, and implementation plans.
Professional Experience (Asset)
- Knowledge of leading IT, AE, Project, and Lean governance frameworks (COBIT, ITIL, NIST, ISO, SOC, TOGAF, PMP, etc.).
- Experience in managing major contracts and projects.
- Knowledge of government regulatory frameworks.
- Knowledge of the healthcare sector.
- Knowledge of digital transformation (customer journeys, design thinking, etc.).
- Experience in data, advanced analytics, or artificial intelligence (for AI mandates).
Personal Qualities
- Leadership, tact, and political sense.
- Strong sense of rigor, autonomy, and organization.
- Ability to facilitate working groups and reflection.
- Skill in preparing recommendations for executives and decision-making bodies.
- Strategic mindset and ability to mobilize stakeholders.
- Ability to define and recommend strategic directions.
- Excellent analytical, synthesis, and problem-solving skills for complex issues.
- Understanding of governance, risk, and transformation issues.
