As a graphics programming intern, you will join the team specialized in the rendering engine. You will participate in the development, optimization, and improvement of graphics pipelines for internationally renowned AAA franchises.

Working alongside senior graphics programmers and technical artists, you will contribute to pushing the visual limits of the game while ensuring optimal performance on next-gen consoles and PC.

Main Responsibilities

  • Rendering engine development: Participate in the implementation and improvement of rendering techniques (lighting, shadows, post-processing, visual effects, materials/shaders).
  • Performance optimization: Analyze and optimize GPU and CPU usage (frame time, video memory management, reduction of draw calls).
  • Graphics debugging and profiling: Use specialized tools to identify bottlenecks and correct visual artifacts.
  • Collaboration with the artistic team: Work with technical artists to ensure that the tools and pipelines for creating graphic assets are performant and smooth.
  • Technological watch: Explore new algorithms and graphics techniques from modern computer graphics research.

Basic Requirements

  • Education: Student in a bachelor's or master's degree in software engineering, computer science, computer engineering, or applied mathematics.
  • C++ Mastery: Strong knowledge of C++, object-oriented programming, and fine memory management.
  • Applied Mathematics: Excellent skills in linear algebra (matrices, transformations, vectors, quaternions) and 3D geometry.
  • Computer Graphics Knowledge: Understanding of modern rendering pipelines (Rasterization, Ray Tracing, Compute Shaders) and GPU architectures.
  • Graphics API Knowledge: Initial experience or theoretical knowledge of at least one modern API (DirectX 12, Vulkan, DirectX 11, or OpenGL).
  • First-person shooter (FPS) game experience.

Asset

  • Practical experience with a game engine (proprietary, Unreal Engine, Unity) or personal projects (3D rendering, personal engines).
  • Knowledge of the C# language or scripting languages (Python).
  • Understanding of modern graphics APIs (DirectX, Vulkan, OpenGL) or game console architectures.
  • Portfolio or GitHub account showcasing low-level programming or video game projects.
