Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Senior Financial Analyst plays a key role in the collective success of the team and actively contributes to the evolution of Legault Group. He or she will be responsible for overseeing the entire sales forecasting process for the Mondou/Ren’s eCommerce banners, as well as supervising the costs associated with the supply chain, including the distribution center, transportation and logistics expenses for all banners. He or she will act as a strategic partner to the Commerce and Supply Chain teams.

Your mission at Legault Group:

  • Participate in the financial cycle (end of month, budget, quarterly forecasts) and monitor the financial performance of eCommerce and logistics activities.
  • Ensure budgetary control, analyze variances and cost drivers, and identify risks, opportunities and optimization opportunities.
  • Produce performance analyses (sales, traffic, promotions, demand, logistics operations) to support decision-making.
  • Act as a strategic business partner to the eCommerce and supply chain teams by formulating financial recommendations.
  • Prepare and present financial results and the performance of distribution centers and logistics operations.
  • Develop and maintain KPIs, dashboards and analysis tools, contributing to the automation and continuous improvement of processes.
  • Analyze opportunities for cost optimization in transportation, handling and operational expenses of the logistics network.

Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, with a minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar role; CPA designation considered an asset.
  • Excellent analytical and synthesis skills, with a solid understanding of financial data, forecasting and performance analysis.
  • Rigor, precision, attention to detail and strong business judgment oriented towards results.
  • Ability to simplify complex financial concepts and influence decision-making with business partners.
  • Excellent collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams in a constantly evolving environment.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity and confidentiality.
  • Advanced Excel skills and good knowledge of data visualization and analysis tools (Power BI, Tableau) as well as Microsoft 365 suite; experience with an ERP, notably SAP, an asset.
  • Bilingualism (English and French) is required, as you will be called upon to interact regularly with clients, partners or colleagues of the organization across Canada, in both official languages.
