The accounting technician plays a key role within the finance team, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the company's financial data. In a rapidly growing manufacturing environment, the incumbent actively participates in monthly closing activities, account reconciliations, financial analysis, and maintaining internal controls, across our various entities.

We are seeking a self-motivated, rigorous professional with a strong analytical capacity, capable of managing multiple priorities in a complex and high-volume operational context.

YOUR ROLE

  • Actively participate in the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing process;
  • Prepare and record end-of-period accounting entries;
  • Perform bank reconciliations and balance sheet account reconciliations;
  • Update fixed asset tables and calculate depreciation;
  • Analyze discrepancies and resolve accounting anomalies;
  • Prepare various financial analyses;
  • Prepare / process intercompany transactions;
  • Support, if needed, payables, receivables, and treasury functions;
  • Collaborate on external audits and auditor requests;
  • Prepare documentation and reconciliations required for audits;
  • Ensure the accuracy of data and proper accounting demarcation;
  • Any other tasks that ensure the smooth functioning of the company;

Desired Profile

  • DEC or DEP in accounting;
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in accounting
  • Experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment is highly favored
  • Excellent mastery of the complete accounting cycle;
  • Very good understanding of financial statements
  • Strong skills in reconciliations, account analyses, and journal entries;
  • Strong sense of rigor and attention to detail
  • Autonomy and initiative;
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Team spirit and collaboration with business partners
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and evolving environment;
