Tasks to be performed

  • Perform compilation assignments
  • Conduct examination missions
  • Prepare financial statements
  • Resolve revision notes with quality control
  • Collaborate with a director or partner to participate in the planning of assignments
  • Develop system tests
  • Formulate relevant recommendations for improving clients' accounting practices
  • Prepare personal and corporate tax returns
  • Meet with clients to explain their personal tax report and for signing
  • Communicate with partners, directors, colleagues, and clients
  • Supervise the work of junior or intermediate verifiers in the execution of significant examination missions

Education and Experience

  • Knowledge of certification standards (audit and examination)
  • Knowledge of professional standards (independence, ethics)
  • Knowledge of tax laws and regulations
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Acomba software
  • Proficiency in CaseWare, CaseView, Tax Prep software (an asset)
