Our firm is currently looking for an auditor.
Tasks to be performed
- Perform compilation assignments
- Conduct examination missions
- Prepare financial statements
- Resolve revision notes with quality control
- Collaborate with a director or partner to participate in the planning of assignments
- Develop system tests
- Formulate relevant recommendations for improving clients' accounting practices
- Prepare personal and corporate tax returns
- Meet with clients to explain their personal tax report and for signing
- Communicate with partners, directors, colleagues, and clients
- Supervise the work of junior or intermediate verifiers in the execution of significant examination missions

Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or DESS
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in an accounting firm
Technical Skills
- Professional title acquired
- Knowledge of Canadian accounting standards (NCELF and NCOSBL)
- Knowledge of certification standards (audit and examination)
- Knowledge of professional standards (independence, ethics)
- Knowledge of tax laws and regulations
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Acomba software
- Proficiency in CaseWare, CaseView, Tax Prep software (an asset)
