Our firm is currently looking for a Tax Specialist.

Tasks to be performed

  • Review and identify technical issues in the tax compliance files of companies, trusts, and individuals,
  • Conduct tax research on various tax questions in Canadian taxation and analyze new legislation,
  • Represent the firm before tax authorities,
  • Participate in training for the firm's professionals,
  • Participate in the management of corporate restructuring and tax planning files,
  • Write memorandums on corporate restructuring and tax planning,
  • Support directors and partners in their various tax mandates.

Education and Experience

  • A Bachelor's degree in taxation or completion of the I'ICCA In-Depth Tax Courses,
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in taxation in a professional firm

  • Good knowledge of professional standards (independence, ethics)
  • Good knowledge of tax laws and regulations
  • Proficiency in Taxprep software and Intelliconnect research tool
