Start date: as soon as possible

Salary: according to the collective agreement (86,416 $ to 200,315 $).

Requirements: The person sought has relevant experience in criminal and penal law for adults and, secondarily, in juvenile justice and youth protection.

They will have represented clients before the courts in both French and English.

They will also have demonstrated their professional leadership, understanding of the legal aid clientele, and community involvement.

Excellent knowledge of French and good knowledge of English.

Assignment: As a lawyer, provide legal services to the legal aid clientele in the following areas: 1. Criminal and penal law for adults; 2. Secondarily, in juvenile justice and youth protection;

Will be called upon to represent clients mainly at the courthouse of Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu;

Perform all other related tasks.
