The BCI's IT team hosts, manages, and evolves a dozen information systems that support its services to its members and partners, as well as to the student community.

In addition to the responsibilities ..., you will also provide support to the BCI's staff, members, and partners in the use of BI solutions and data.

Main Responsibilities

  • Identify, analyze, document, and validate business needs and requirements of the organization;
  • Communicate regularly with partner universities regarding data collection;
  • Monitor test plans and provide functional support to users;
  • Write and maintain up-to-date reference documents (business processes, user guides, test plans, system documentation, and procedures);
  • Design and develop system components using Microsoft programming languages;
  • Review peer code;
  • Ensure application security from the design stage (Privacy by design);
  • Collaborate on change strategies, risk management, training, communication, and solution deployment;
  • Participate in AI component analysis for projects;
  • Contribute to privacy-related factor (PRF) and personal information project analyses;
  • Collaborate with the IT team to ensure the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of the BCI's information systems and services to universities;
  • Support the BCI's staff, members, and partners in the use of BI solutions and data.

Qualifications

  • University degree in computer science;
  • Three (3) to six (6) years of relevant experience;
  • Strong autonomy in task execution and relationships with various stakeholders;
  • Holistic and integrated vision of technological challenges and issues in the academic environment;
  • Excellent analytical and synthesis skills;
  • Excellent ability to set priorities and work in complexity;
  • Experience in system integration;
  • Mastery of best practices in business analysis and related techniques (e.g., workshops and brainstorming sessions, business process and rule analysis, UML modeling, estimation, review);
  • Excellent knowledge of web services and Microsoft technologies including SQL, SSIS (ETL), SSAS (Cube), SSRS (reporting), Power BI, Power Automate, Azure DevOps, .NET 7.0, C#, .NET Framework 4.8, Visual Studio 2022, MSTest, Azure Pipeline, PowerShell;
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office suite, including Visio;
  • Good writing skills.

Assets

  • Knowledge of the academic environment;
  • Certification in business analysis (IIBA-CBAP, IIBA-AAC, PMI-PBA).
